Over All Things To Think About when doing a jump rope workout
Take a realistic look at your schedule and see how much time you can dedicate to your exercise program. It is better to under commit and over achieve. 3-4 times a week for an hour is recommended.
Schedule an appointment with yourself to workout…write it down in your Day Timer and treat it like you would a hair appointment or doctors appointment.
Is there a better time during the day for you to workout? Pick a time that you are most apt not to cancel on yourself. If you find that in the afternoons you have a tendency to get tired or over extended with other responsibilities get your workout done in the morning. Morning workouts will jump start your metabolism and fuel you with more energy for the entire day.
Start your workout program today don’t keep putting it off until tomorrow.
You should not try and crash diet or over stress your body with to many workouts.
It is healthier to take the workout program slow and steady.
Pace yourself…trying to do too much to fast can cause burnout.
You should try and include aerobic exercise, core training, weight resistance work, stretching and stress reduction exercises into your program. You can do these activities separate or together. Cross training will keep your body from getting overly fatigued and it will keep you from getting bored.
